My name is McKenna Blean and I am from the small town of Gilroy, California.
Gilroy is known as the Garlic Capital of the World and holds the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival. I flew all the way out to Keene State College to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design while also playing Division III field hockey. I have played field hockey at Keene State for the last four years. This year I was awarded the honor of being named team captain. During my time here playing field hockey at Keene State College, we have made it to the LEC Championship three separate times. Of the three times, we made it to the championship we have won it twice. After I graduate this spring I will be moving back home to look for a career in the graphic design world. I hope to find a job or internship in an agency because I have found I enjoy working with multiple clients due to the variation of demands. I specialize in logo design, developing and continuing brand identities, basic After Effects, basic HTML/CSS, and general design needs for business and individual clients. A fun fact about me is that I am related to President James Buchanan who was the 15th president of the United States. Thank you for your time, hope you enjoyed!
