Juliet Hunt

I’m Juliet Hunt,

I grew up in the small town of Antrim, NH. I’m one of the few fortunate people in my family to go to college, my family is very diverse, and I’m grateful for the different perspectives and lessons I have learned from them. I came to Keene State undeclared from a major with an open mind into taking different courses to find what fit best for me. Graphic design ended up being one of my top choices, and a friend of mine from the 2019 BFA class encouraged me to apply for the 2021 graphic design BFA program, that’s when I officially became a graphic design major. My minors are in my other two passions, environmental studies, and studio art. I love incorporating photography in my designs and utilizing typography. I took our class portraits for this site!

Growing up in a small town where most of the land is forest naturally lead me to caring about the environment and the issues facing our planet’s health. I hope to find a job where I can combine my knowledge and skills to raise awareness about environmental and social issues and topics through design. I think of graphic design as almost a science of art. Design is often inherent and thus goes undetected in its vast contributions of shaping, communicating, and formatting information through the media in our world.
